CBW Staffing Solutions seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a healthcare campus in Surrey. You will join a small team to maintain critical electrical systems and support high-tech facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to faults in operating rooms and ICU, and coordinate with subcontractors as needed. Mon-Fri 8-5, up to £42,000 with training and overtime options.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds 18th Edition qualification is required.
• Level 3 electrical installations qualification is required.
• Experience in a hospital, medical facility, or critical-care environment preferred.
• HV or LV knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
• General knowledge of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair hospital electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, emergency power and control systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switchgear, transformers and circuit breakers.
• Report issues to line manager.
• Escort sub-contractors around the site.
• Maintain and test emergency power systems including generators, UPS and ATS.
• Respond promptly to electrical faults impacting critical areas (operating rooms, ICU, labs).
• Handle reactive works on air handling units and fan coil units.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, outages and repairs.
• Ensure all installations comply with hospital policies, national electrical codes and healthcare regulations.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading healthcare campus in Surrey. This site is a modern, state-of-the-art facility with multiple specialist areas and cutting-edge equipment.

You will be part of a small, skilled team of 3 engineers who know the site inside out and will help you get up to speed quickly. The campus supports a large workforce and offers excellent amenities including multiple food outlets and break areas, ensuring you have everything you need during your working day.
