CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Day Shift Engineer for a healthcare site in Lewisham. The ideal candidate will be electrically biased with a proven track record in building maintenance and hold Level 3 Electrical Installations (C&G/NVQ) plus 18th Edition.

The role offers day shifts (4 on 4 off, 7am–7pm) and a salary up to £48,900. You will work with the FM service provider team, performing electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance, and improving building services while

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Electrical Installations (C&G, NVQ etc).
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Proven track record in Building Maintenance.
• Good communication skills.
• Multiskilled in Mechanical and Electrical.
• Knowledge of UPS/Generators/Power distribution/HVAC/HV LV desirable.
• Good leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance in a healthcare environment.
• Monitor and maintain electrical systems and equipment on-site.
• Support on-site maintenance team with fault finding and repairs.
• Ensure H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.

Electrical Day Shift Engineer - FM Service Provider - Hospital - Lewisham - £48,900

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G, 18th Edition, etc.) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballasts, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.

Hours of work

• 4 on 4 off - Days Only
• 7 am - 7 pm
