Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a leading healthcare campus in Barnet, North London. The role involves maintaining complex hospital electrical systems, responding to faults in critical zones, and working with a skilled team on a modern site with extensive facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and national codes.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installations qualification.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• Previous experience in a hospital, medical facility, or critical-care environment preferred.
• HV or LV knowledge (not essential).
• General Knowledge of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hospital electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and control systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, switch gear, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Reporting to your line manager with any issues.
• Escorting sub-contractors around the site
• Maintain and test emergency power systems, including generators, UPS units, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
• Respond promptly to electrical faults that impact critical areas such as operating rooms, ICU, and labs.
• Reactive works on air handling units, fan coil units.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, outages, and repairs.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with hospital policies, national electrical codes, and health care facility regulations.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading healthcare campus in Barnet, North London. This site is a modern, state-of-the-art facility with multiple specialist areas and cutting-edge equipment.

Hours of work

• Monday - Friday
• 08:00 - 17:00
