Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a commercial campus in Whitechapel. The role is a Monday–Friday, on-site position offering a competitive salary and premium benefits.

You will be the go-to engineer for fabric and general maintenance across the estate, ensuring timely, safe, and efficient service. The ideal candidate holds Level 3 Electrical certification with hands-on skills across trades, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication to

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Electrical certification.
• Hands-on skills across fabric and basic mechanical/electrical trades.
• Proactive problem solving and fault reporting.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fabric and general maintenance tasks across the estate.
• Monitor and maintain air conditioning AHU/FCU; change filters and clean.
• Monitor BMS system, check hot and cold readings.
• Take readings from UPS systems and alarms; report faults promptly.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and escalation of issues as needed.

Location: Whitechapel

Salary: £48,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

CBW Staffing Solutions are working with a high-profile, client-direct commercial campus in Whitechapel to find a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule offering excellent work-life balance. You'll be the go-to person for fabric and general maintenance tasks across the estate - no two days will be the same.

What You'll Be Doing

• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00am - 16:30pm
