Job summary

CBW are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large commercial campus in Sittingbourne. You will carry out electrical planned and reactive maintenance across a static site, working with the on-site maintenance team.

The role requires City & Guilds Level 2/3 and 17th/18th Edition, with a focus on reliability and fault-finding in a commercial environment. 40-hour week with typical hours.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2/3.
• 17th/18th Edition required.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.

Responsibilities

• Electrical planned and reactive maintenance across a large static site.
• Operate with the on-site maintenance team.
• Lamping, lighting tests, panels, pumps and air handling units.
• Maintain log books and assist with water treatment and plant monitoring.
• Escort specialist subcontractors and ensure site safety.

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Sittingbourne. CBW are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large commercial campus located in Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.

He or she will be required to carry out Electrical planned and reactive maintenance across this static site. Working with the maintenance team on-site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Key Duties &Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installations, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Cooling Towers
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Hours of work

Monday to Friday (40-hour week)

08:00 am to 17:00 pm
