Qualifications

  • Educated to a HNC/degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of current policies and procedures relevant to the role.
  • A good working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards.

An exciting opportunity to join the Engineering & Maintenance Team at CDCPK, reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be working within the site maintenance team within CDCPK as we take the steps into a Zero Carbon future. Your responsibilities

• You will undertake proactive and reactive work, including fault finding and/or investigation on a broad range of process plant and systems, in support of performance against Key Performance Indicators, long term asset integrity and compliance with all relevant Uniper policies and statutory legislation.

• Improve the efficiency & effectiveness of maintenance strategies in line with best practise.

• Utilising your skills and experience you will improve the efficiency & effectiveness of maintenance strategy in line with CDCPK strategy and best practice.

• You will help plan and deliver all short-term outage including but not limited to Combustion Chamber Inspections, Borescope Inspections and Minor outages and support the planning, co-ordination and delivery of all outages.

• You will deliver all work safely and to programme, budget and quality.

• Plan and deliver outages in the spirit of the Outage Best Practice handbook.

• You will actively promote a culture of health, safety, environmental awareness and quality; seek out improvements in all these areas and directly contribute to their development, planning and delivery for CDCPK and Uniper.

• You will ensure best practice is employed by networking and benchmarking comparisons with other departments, plants, engineers, industries and Uniper teams (Asset Management Team, Uniper Technologies) to achieve optimum levels of performance, revenue and capital expenditure.

• Your Contract management skills will enable you to run a number of contracts which involve on site working to include the health, safety and environmental aspects as well as the commercial and technical issues.

Your profile

Essential

• Educated to a HNC/degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject (Engineering/Science), with relevant experience.

• Knowledge of current policies and procedures relevant to the role.

• A good working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and standards to IOSH or equivalent

• Excellent planning and organisational skills the ability to manage resources and prioritisation of workload.
