Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd seeks an Electrical Installations Lecturer for North Notts College, Worksop. The role is part-time (25 hours per week) on a temporary basis from September 2026 to June 2027, with a salary depending on experience and teaching qualification.

You will lead practical bays and shape the curriculum to current industry standards. Applicants should hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one, with a Level 3+ Mechanical Engineering qualification and prior teaching experience.

Qualifications

  • Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one.
  • Hold a level 3+ professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have experience of teaching students or apprentices.
  • Be well organised and able to manage your own workload.
  • Hold an assessor's award (Desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on training covering domestic, commercial, and industrial wiring systems.
  • Directly influence and modernize the College's electrical provision to match current industry standards.
  • Decode wiring regulations and theories with supportive, practical coaching for success.
  • Mentor students through practical testing and troubleshooting to career excellence.

Salary; £26.48 - £32.91 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and teaching qualification)
