Job summary

RES Electrical Installations Lecturer at North Notts College, Worksop, is a part-time (25 hours/week) temporary role from September 2026 to June 2027. The position offers a salary of £26.48–£32.91 per hour plus holiday pay, depending on experience and teaching qualification.

Applicants should have a teaching qualification or be working towards one, and hold a Level 3+ Mechanical Engineering qualification. Experience teaching students and apprentices is required; the successful candidate will

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards.
• Hold a level 3+ professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have experience of teaching students/apprentices.
• Be well organised and able to manage your own workload.
• Hold an assessor's award (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Lead practical bays covering domestic, commercial, and industrial wiring systems.
• Deliver engaging, hands-on training to transform raw talent into industry-ready electricians.
• Shape and modernise the curriculum to match current industry standards.
• Decode regulations and coach students to succeed in practical testing and troubleshooting.
