Job summary

RNN Group at North Notts College, Worksop, is recruiting an Electrical Installations Lecturer for a part-time 25-hour-per-week role on a temporary contract from Sep 2026 to Jun 2027. Salary is £26.48–£32.91 per hour plus holiday pay, with an apply-by date of 01/09/2026.

The role focuses on leading practical training across domestic, commercial and industrial wiring, shaping the curriculum to industry standards, and mentoring students to industry readiness.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards.
• Experience teaching students/apprentices.
• Be well organised and able to manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging hands-on training covering domestic, commercial, and industrial wiring systems.
• Directly influence and modernise the College's electrical provision to match current industry standards.
• Provide supportive practical coaching and assessment to ensure student success.
