Job summary

Bradford College is recruiting an Electrical Installation Skills Coach to support apprentices in achieving national standards. The role focuses on assessing vocational knowledge, guiding learners and coordinating with employers to ensure timely progression within the apprenticeship framework.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to assess to national standards.
• Experience working with a range of learner abilities.
• Current knowledge of assessment practices.
• Ability to plan and deliver functional skills in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Undertake timely assessments to national standards and record decisions.
• Manage a caseload and set SMART targets for progress.
• Work with employers to book functional skills; ensure first 6 months.
• Support L1 Functional Skills in the workplace.
• Attend inductions and support apprenticeship progression.
• Monitor progress with CognAssist ALS.
• Support recruitment and initial assessments.
• Perform Internal Quality Assurance if required.
