TeacherActive Limited in Leicester seeks an Apprenticeship Skills Coach / Lecturer to combine classroom teaching with apprenticeship coaching and learner support. You will deliver high-quality learning and guide apprentices to achieve their qualifications.

The role emphasizes planful teaching, progress reviews, and collaboration with employers to ensure successful programme completion. DBS checks and safeguarding may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching or assessing learners within Further Education, apprenticeships or vocational training.
• A recognised teaching and/or assessor qualification, or relevant equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, learner progress reviews and assessment practices.
• Experience supporting learners towards successful qualification completion.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver engaging teaching and training sessions in line with curriculum requirements and apprenticeship standards.
• Provide individual coaching, guidance and ongoing support to apprentices throughout their programmes.
• Monitor learner progress, conduct reviews and identify areas needing extra support.
• Assess learner work, provide constructive feedback and maintain assessment records.
• Support apprentices with portfolio development, Functional Skills and EPA preparation.
• Carry out initial assessments and contribute to learning plans.
• Collaborate with employers and learners to ensure programme completion.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete administrative requirements.
• Adapt teaching and coaching approaches to different learning needs.
