Electrical Inspector - Commercial Test & Inspection (2391)

Industry leading award winning safety specialist operating across 5 areas, with a specialist Electrical Safety division made up of 4 different divisions. They specialise in fixed wire test & inspection (EICR's) of commercial and industrial premises.

The role involves running full-scale inspections and tests on commercial and industrial fixed wiring and switchgear, compiling EICRs, spotting and logging issues, and using testing gear and reporting software.

Responsibilities include:

  • Running full-scale inspections and tests on commercial and industrial fixed wiring and switchgear
  • Compiling EICRs that actually matter
  • Spotting what's not quite up to scratch, logging it, and telling the story of what needs fixing
  • Using testing gear and reporting software like a pro
  • Working independently, adapting daily, and keeping your cool
  • Staying on top of EICR standards (BS 7671, IET wiring regs, City & Guilds credentials)

We expect from you:

  • A minimum of around three years of similar experience
  • The proper qualifications: City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent), NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition certificate
  • A full UK driving licence
  • You're detail-focused, self-starting, and professional
