Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in Manchester or Warrington, delivering electrical and EICA design for water and wastewater projects and supporting the full project lifecycle. This role offers learning opportunities across feasibility, optioneering, detailed design and construction support.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within electrical engineering design or a related technical environment.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles and design processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive approach to learning and delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supporting electrical design activities across the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, optioneering, detailed design and construction support.
• Assisting with the preparation of technical documentation, specifications, drawings and engineering reports.
• Supporting the development of EICA solutions that meet client, operational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
• Developing your understanding of industry standards, design processes and best practice through hands-on project experience.
