Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water sector team, delivering EICA design across water and wastewater projects from Newcastle or Leeds. You will lead electrical design efforts, mentor graduates, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions that meet regulatory targets.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA design within infrastructure, utilities or industrial environments.
• Experience producing technical calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of electrical design standards and low voltage power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Delivering electrical engineering and EICA designs from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
• Producing electrical calculations, Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, equipment schedules and technical specifications.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and clients to develop practical engineering solutions.
• Supporting design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops.
• Mentoring graduate and junior engineers while contributing to technical best practice.
• Supporting project delivery across multiple frameworks within the UK water sector.
