Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Water team in Cardiff. You will support electrical design and EICA services across water and wastewater projects, contributing to feasibility, design and construction stages while collaborating with engineers from multiple disciplines.

The role offers development opportunities, mentoring, and the chance to contribute to sustainable infrastructure for communities and the environment, with hybrid working in place.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Some experience within electrical engineering design or a related technical environment.
• An understanding of electrical engineering principles and design processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical and EICA design solutions across water and wastewater projects.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, optioneering, detailed design and construction support.
• Assist with technical documentation, drawings and specifications, collaborating with engineers from different disciplines.
• Develop technical capability through hands-on project experience and mentoring.
