Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in Manchester or Warrington. You will own electrical and EICA design delivery across complex water and wastewater projects, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable solutions.

You will lead the development of electrical design, review key technical outputs, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA engineering solutions within complex infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, standards and technical documentation.
• Experience producing outputs such as Single Line Diagrams, specifications and design reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across multidisciplinary projects.
• Produce and review technical deliverables, including Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, specifications and reports.
• Support design reviews, technical workshops and collaboration with clients, contractors and supply chain partners.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers within the team.
• Ensure engineering solutions meet client requirements, industry standards and project objectives.
