Job summary

Stantec, a leading engineering consultancy, invites a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team and deliver EICA solutions across major clean water and wastewater programmes. The role is based in London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton or Southampton, with hybrid working and opportunities to progress your career.

You will work with project managers and multidisciplinary teams from concept through to construction, mentoring graduates, producing diagrams and calculations, and helping

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering electrical/EICA design in water/utility sectors.
• Experience producing electrical calculations and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems and control philosophies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and EICA designs from feasibility to construction.
• Produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams and technical specifications.
• Develop electrical calculations, control philosophies and equipment schedules.
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers while contributing to technical excellence across the team.
