Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team in Manchester or Warrington. You will lead electrical and EICA design across water and wastewater projects, delivering safe, sustainable and robust solutions within a collaborative environment.

You will work across feasibility to commissioning, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients, contractors and supply chain partners to grow our electrical capability in the North West.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical/EICA solutions in complex infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and technical documentation.
• Experience producing/reviewing outputs like Single Line Diagrams, specs, design reports.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients, contractors and colleagues.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across multidisciplinary projects.
• Produce/review key technical deliverables (SLDs, block diagrams, specs, reports).
• Support design reviews, workshops and collaboration with clients and supply chain partners.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Ensure solutions meet client requirements, standards and project objectives.
