Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Newcastle or Leeds.

You will deliver EICA designs across water and wastewater projects, mentoring graduates and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive practical engineering solutions across the full asset lifecycle. You will work within the UK water sector, supporting feasibility through to construction, and contribute to design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops while

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering electrical or EICA designs in infrastructure, utilities or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of electrical design standards and LV power distribution.
• Experience producing calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering and EICA designs from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
• Produce electrical calculations, single line diagrams, block cable diagrams, equipment schedules and specs.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and clients to develop practical engineering solutions.
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops.
• Mentor graduate and junior engineers and contribute to technical best practice.
• Support project delivery across multiple UK water sector frameworks.
