Job summary

Mott MacDonald is a global engineering, management and development consultancy with 20,000+ staff and 140+ offices. We are recruiting for Electrical Engineers to join the Energy Unit's Transmission & Distribution division to support from inception to commissioning on major electrical projects.

You'll work on renewable, grid connection, and 11kV/33kV networks, deliver specs and drawings, and mentor junior staff while travelling across the UK to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Chartered or equivalent professional engineer status.
• Proven experience in electrical design for LV to 33kV and renewables.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Willingness to travel across the UK & overseas.
• Experience with NEC PSC procurement and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions and leadership for electrical designs on major projects.
• Apply company procedures, manage bids and project delivery to schedule and budget.
• Develop junior staff and graduates; ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead tender specs, calculations, designs and drawings for 11kV/33kV networks.
