Job summary
Mott MacDonald is seeking an Electrical Engineer within the Energy unit's Transmission & Distribution division to support projects from inception through commissioning. You will produce tender specifications, calculations, designs and drawings for 11kV/33kV networks and renewables connections.
Join a team delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure works, with opportunities for travel across the UK and internationally, and active development of junior staff while contributing to bids and client
Qualifications
- Chartered engineer or professionally qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering for LV up to 33kV and protection schemes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to prepare specifications and reports.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical solutions and leadership in electrical designs for major projects.
- Manage engineering deliverables, ensuring client requirements and regulatory standards are met on time and budget.
- Mentor junior staff and support bids, proposals, and governance.
