Electrical Engineer

Salary : £62,500 + 10% Bonus

Location : Stanford-le-Hope, Essex

Shift Pattern : Panama Shift (Days & Nights)

Summary

We are working with a leading global organisation that continues to expand its state‑of‑the‑art site in Essex. As part of this growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to strengthen their engineering team. This position will take the lead on electrical systems across the site, with a particular focus on PLC fault‑finding, electrical reliability, and the performance of high‑tech equipment.

Key Responsibilities

You will be working with some of the most advanced machinery in the industry, supporting a fully integrated container‑handling operation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in PLC diagnostics, electrical drives, control hardware, software backups and electrical system optimisation, as the company continues to invest in new technology and engineering capability.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability, safety and performance of all electrical systems on site. This includes commissioning support, electrical troubleshooting, system improvements, equipment upgrades and performance monitoring in a modern, fast‑paced environment that offers continuous challenge and technical progression.
