Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is urgently recruiting an electrically biased Electrical Engineer to maintain a commercial building in London on an ongoing contract. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with the on-site maintenance team and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Immediate start is required and a competitive hourly rate is offered. The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds Level 2/3 and 18th Edition, have a proven track record in commercial

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (C&G/NVQ) and 18th edition.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lighting: installation, fault-finding, lamping, ballast, control panel, power distribution.
• Emergency lighting.
• Air Conditioning: AHU/FCU maintenance and filter changes.
• Chillers: reset and basic checks.
• Water treatment: temperature checks and dosing control.
• Plumbing: unblocking toilets and basic upkeep.
• Pumps and motors maintenance.
• BMS system monitoring (temperature control).
• UPS systems monitoring and taking readings.

Electrical Engineer - Commercial Building - London - Immediate start - On-going - £29 Per hour

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider located in London.CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to cover a commercial site.The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.Working with the maintenance team onsite, this person will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance.

Hours/Details

• Monday to Friday
• 06:30am to 15:30pm
• 07:30am to 16:30pm
• On-going contract
• £29per hour via umbrella
• Immediate start

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Reset
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3, 18th edition
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
