Electrical EICA Engineer - Wastewater Upgrades

Job summary

Urban Connect is seeking an experienced Electrical/EICA Engineer to support multiple wastewater infrastructure upgrade schemes in the West Midlands. You will contribute to design, procurement, installation and commissioning across site and project teams.

The role covers electrical installation, technical documentation, supplier liaison and commissioning, with emphasis on delivering safe, on-time EICA works.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/EICA engineering for water/wastewater projects.
• Proven ability to manage electrical installation and commissioning.
• Experience liaising with suppliers and reviewing technical drawings.
• Able to work across site and project environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and support electrical design development.
• Liaise with suppliers and review technical drawings and documentation.
• Prepare electrical tender packages and scopes of work.
• Manage TQs and RFIs relating to EICA works.
• Attend FATs and support equipment procurement.
• Identify and manage scope deviations with project and commercial teams.
• Plan electrical works, including shutdowns and client approvals.
• Support commissioning plans, commissioning activities and check sheets.
• Supervise electrical installation works on site as required.
• Ensure EICA works are delivered safely, to programme and in line with project requirements.
