Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an EICA Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering a major water infrastructure project in the UK. The role focuses on supporting EICA package delivery, coordinating electrical, instrumentation, control and automation works and reviewing technical documentation.

You will liaise with designers, subcontractors and site teams, assisting with procurement, FAT/SAT, commissioning activities and ensuring design-aligned delivery.

Competenze

• Experience within the UK water or wastewater industry.
• Electrical/ICA/Controls or EICA engineering background.
• Good working knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Understanding of MCCs, control panels, telemetry and electrical/control interfaces.
• Some previous Project Engineer, Assistant Project Engineer, EICA Engineer or similar experience.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Desire to develop into a more senior EICA Project Engineering position.
• EUSR Water Hygiene Card – required.
• Electrical/engineering qualifications and CSCS/ECS would be advantageous.

• Assist with RAMS, ITPs, technical documentation and project handover information.
• Attend project, design and coordination meetings as required.
• Work closely with commissioning and construction teams as the project progresses.

The Role
