Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an EICA Design Engineer to support water industry projects on a contract basis. The role targets electrical design professionals with an EICA background who can contribute to reliable water infrastructure solutions and deliverables.

You will develop electrical and EICA designs, produce drawings and documentation, apply engineering principles, and collaborate with civil, mechanical and process engineers. Availability to start ASAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in EICA or electrical design within water industry.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure standards.
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an EICA Design Engineer to support projects within the water industry. This contract opportunity is suited to an electrical design professional with an EICA background who can contribute to the delivery of effective and reliable water infrastructure solutions. The role is available to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing electrical and EICA designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Producing technical drawings, specifications and design documentation
• Applying electrical engineering principles to support the design and delivery of water industry schemes
• Working with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical and process engineering professionals
• Reviewing designs to ensure compliance with relevant standards, project requirements and health and safety legislation
• Providing technical input throughout the design and project delivery process
• Supporting the resolution of technical issues and design queries
• Maintaining accurate project records and contributing to design reviews

Job Requirements:

• Experience in EICA or electrical design within the water industry
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and design practices
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure
• Ability to interpret and produce electrical schematics, layouts and technical documentation
• Understanding of relevant electrical standards, regulations and health and safety requirements
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to design work
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Availability to start as soon as possible
