Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an EICA Design Engineer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Manchester, United Kingdom. This contract role suits an electrical design professional with an EICA background who can contribute to delivering safe, reliable water solutions.

You will develop electrical and EICA designs, produce drawings and documentation, interpret schematics, and collaborate with civil, mechanical and process engineers to ensure standards and health & safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in EICA or electrical design within the water industry.
• Knowledge of electrical standards, regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret and produce electrical schematics, layouts and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to design work.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and EICA designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Producing technical drawings, specifications and design documentation.
• Applying electrical engineering principles to support the design and delivery of water industry schemes.
• Working with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical and process engineering professionals.
• Reviewing designs to ensure compliance with relevant standards, project requirements and health and safety legislation.
• Providing technical input throughout the design and project delivery process.
• Supporting the resolution of technical issues and design queries.
• Maintaining accurate project records and contributing to design reviews.
