Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an EICA Design Engineer to support water industry projects. The role targets electrical design professionals with EICA background to deliver reliable water infrastructure solutions. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include developing electrical and EICA designs, producing drawings and documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards and health and safety regulations. Multidisciplinary collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in EICA or electrical design within the water industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and design practices.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret and produce electrical schematics, layouts and technical documentation.
• Understanding of electrical standards, regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Attention to detail and methodical design approach.
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and EICA designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Produce technical drawings, specifications and design documentation.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to support design and delivery of water schemes.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical and process engineers.
• Review designs for standards, project requirements and health & safety compliance.
• Provide technical input throughout design and project delivery.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and design queries.
• Maintain accurate project records and contribute to design reviews.
