Zusammenfassung

OCU Group is seeking an EICA Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering electrical, instrumentation, control and automation solutions for water and wastewater projects across the UK and internationally. The role is office/site based in Bridgend, with permanent, full-time employment.

You will contribute to concept through detailed design and construction support, ensuring compliance with UK standards and CDM.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, ICA Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in UK water and/or wastewater projects.
• Strong understanding of EICA systems, controls, and automation.
• Experience producing technical design documentation and engineering deliverables.
• Knowledge of UK water industry standards, codes, and WIMES specifications.
• Experience working in Design & Build or contractor-led environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Deliver EICA design solutions across water and wastewater treatment projects
• Produce and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports
• Support the delivery of projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and clients
• Participate in technical workshops, design reviews, HAZOPs, and safety assessments
• Assess existing infrastructure and develop practical EICA solutions for treatment and pumping systems
• Ensure designs comply with UK standards, WIMES, CDM Regulations, and project requirements
• Support safe design practices including design risk assessments and engineering governance
