Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is hiring a Quality Engineer to join the Quality team. The role supports continuous improvement, champions quality standards and ensures compliant, customer-focused services across a diverse project portfolio.

The ideal candidate has an Engineering degree or an HNC with strong analytical skills and experience with ISO 9001:2015. Expect collaborative work with stakeholders and opportunities to influence business performance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Experience producing reports and KPIs in a regulated environment desirable.
• Strong IT skills to analyse performance data and present to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential quality, compliance and operational risks and drive corrective actions within timescales.
• Conduct quality reviews of Engineering Connections quotations and designs for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support continual improvement of engineering processes to boost quality and efficiency.
• Ensure quotations from the design team are accurate and aligned with standards and policies.
• Provide assurance that quality management processes are consistently applied across the business.
