Job summary

SSE is hiring a Quality Engineer to join the Quality team. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, championing quality standards, and delivering compliant, customer-focused services across a diverse project portfolio.

You'll identify risks, conduct reviews, and support process improvements while collaborating with stakeholders. Lean Six Sigma experience would be advantageous for shaping a culture of quality and excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or HNC with quality experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience analysing performance data and reporting on KPIs.
• Strong IT skills and ability to present to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality, compliance and operational risks and escalate appropriately.
• Conduct quality reviews of Engineering Quotations and designs for accuracy and compliance.
• Support continual improvement of engineering processes for quality and efficiency.
• Ensure quotations are accurate, compliant and aligned with standards.
• Provide assurance that quality management processes are applied and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
