Job summary

SSE seeks a Quality Engineer to join the Quality team, driving continuous improvement and championing quality standards across a diverse project portfolio. You will influence business performance and support efficient, compliant, customer-focused services.

Working across projects, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to shape a culture of quality and excellence, with Lean Six Sigma exposure considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or HNC with significant quality management experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to report on performance data and KPIs.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong IT skills and ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality, compliance and operational risks; escalate and ensure corrective actions are implemented on time.
• Conduct quality reviews of Engineering Connections quotations and designs for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support continual improvement of engineering processes to enhance quality and customer outcomes.
• Ensure quotations from the design team are accurate, compliant and aligned with standards and policies.
• Provide assurance that quality management processes are consistently applied across the business.
