SSE PLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Quality team in a pivotal role across Commercial & Connections. You will champion quality standards, drive continuous improvement and support compliant, customer-focused services across a diverse project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or HNC with substantial quality management experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail; excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify quality, compliance and operational risks and drive corrective actions within timescales.
• Conduct quality reviews of quotations and designs to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Support continual improvement of engineering processes to enhance quality and customer outcomes.
• Ensure quotations align with standards and policies; maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
