CBW Staffing Solutions in Lewisham is seeking an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to join a healthcare maintenance team on site. You will be electrically biased with NVQ/C&G/18th Edition and have a proven track record in building maintenance in a hospital or similar setting.

Working 4 on 4 off, days only (7am–7pm), you will handle electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance, with a salary up to £48,900 and scope for training and progression within a leading FM service provider.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications (NVQ/C&G/18th Edition)
• Proven track record in building maintenance
• Experience in healthcare/commercial environments

Responsibilities

• Lighting - installation, fault finding, lamping and ballast changes
• Emergency lighting maintenance
• Air conditioning - AHU/FCU maintenance
• Chillers - resets and monitoring
• Water treatment - temperature checks
• Monitor mechanical plant and pumps/motors
• BMS system monitoring
• Report faults and maintain safety practices

Electrical Day Shift Engineer - FM Service Provider - Hospital - Lewisham - £48,900

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G, 18th Edition etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.

Hours of work

• 4 on 4 off - Days Only
• 7 am - 7 pm

Requirements

• Level 3 in Electrical Installations (C&G, NVQ etc)
• A proven track record in Building Maintenance
• Good Communication Skills.
• Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
• Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV (Desirable)
• Good Leadership & Management skills
