Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer for a healthcare environment in Lewisham. On-site role with a competitive salary and progression opportunities.

Ideal candidate will be mechanically biased with relevant qualifications, a proven building maintenance background, and strong communication skills. Role includes on-site maintenance, basic electrical tasks and coordinating subcontractors.

Qualifications

• NVQ/C&G Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven track record in Building Maintenance.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Multiskilled - Mechanical and Electrical.
• Knowledge of UPS/Generators/Power Distribution/HVAC/HV LV desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the mechanical plant.
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings.
• Air Conditioning - AHUs / FCUs (filters and cleaning).
• Water Treatment checks (not dosing).
• Plumbing - unblocking toilets, replacing taps and washers.
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (lamp changes).
• General building fabric.
• Escort specialist subcontractors.

Mechanical Day Shift Engineer - FM Service Provider - Hospital - Lewisham - £48,900

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G, etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Hours of work

• 4 on 4 off - Days Only
• 7 am - 7 pm

• Up to £48,900
