Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking experienced Electrical Assemblers to join an established Gloucestershire engineering firm on a long-term contract. Immediate start with potential transition to permanent roles for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include assembling and wiring control panels, reading schematics, and performing precision hand soldering and tool work. Reliable transport is required due to site location.

Qualifications

• Proven background as Electrical Assembler, Panel Wirer, or Electrical Technician.
• Strong hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and handling small tools.
• Ability to read and work from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Electrical assembly: build and wire control panels to high standards.
• Construct and wire complex control panels according to drawings.
• Hand soldering, crimping, and use of small hand tools as required.
• Interpret electrical schematics and apply them accurately on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Assembly: Executing high-quality electrical assembly and panel wiring.
• Control Panels: Building and wiring complex control panels.
• Technical Assembly: Hand soldering, crimping, and using small hand tools.
• Schematics: Reading and accurately working from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven Background: Previous experience as an Electrical Assembler, Panel Wirer, or Electrical Technician.
• Core Capabilities: Strong, hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and tool handling.
• Precision: The ability to work accurately to a high standard within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Logistics: Due to the site location, your own reliable transport is required.

Benefits & Hours:

• Standard Rate: £19.26 per hour.
• Overtime Rate: £28.88 per hour.
• Payment Options: Both Self-Employed and PAYE rates are available.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (38-40 hour standard week).
