Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking experienced Electrical Assemblers and Panel Wirers for a Gloucestershire-based engineering firm on a long-term contract. Immediate start, with clear path to permanent work for the right candidate.

Competitive overtime rates and flexible payment options (PAYE or self-employed) are available. You'll assemble panels, wire control panels, solder, crimp, and read wiring diagrams, requiring precision and reliable transport to site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Assembler, Panel Wirer, or Electrical Technician.
• Strong hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and tool handling.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams with precision.

Job description

An established engineering firm based in Gloucestershire is seeking experienced Electrical Assemblers and Panel Wirers to join their team on a long-term contract basis.

This position offers an immediate start, highly competitive overtime rates, and a genuine opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Assembly: Executing high-quality electrical assembly and panel wiring.
• Control Panels: Building and wiring complex control panels.
• Technical Assembly: Hand soldering, crimping, and using small hand tools.
• Schematics: Reading and accurately working from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven Background: Previous experience as an Electrical Assembler, Panel Wirer, or Electrical Technician.
• Core Capabilities: Strong, hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, and tool handling.
• Precision: The ability to work accurately to a high standard within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Logistics: Due to the site location, your own reliable transport is required.

Benefits & Hours:

• Standard Rate: £19.26 per hour.
• Overtime Rate: £28.88 per hour.
• Payment Options: Both Self-Employed and PAYE rates are available.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (38-40 hour standard week).
