Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrical Assembler for a temporary-to-permanent position in the UK. The role focuses on winding coils, soldering, crimping, and assembly of small, intricate electrical components within a supportive production team.

Hours are 6:00am–4:00pm, four days a week with Fridays off, offering an excellent work-life balance. The successful candidate will follow ISO standards and maintain quality and safety procedures while progressing to long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Confidence using small hand tools and working with intricate components.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience.
• The ability to follow instructions and work from technical drawings.
• Soldering or crimping experience (advantageous).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 standards (desirable).
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Winding electrical coils to customer specifications, technical drawings and samples.
• Operating specialist coil winding machines and associated equipment.
• Hand soldering wires, cables and electrical connectors.
• Crimping and assembling wires, cables and connectors.
• Applying specialist tapes, resins and protective materials.
• Carrying out quality checks and testing to ensure products meet required standards.
• Assembling small, intricate electrical components with accuracy and care.
• Following company Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.
• Working closely with a small, supportive production team to meet deadlines.
• Taking responsibility for your work and using your initiative once fully trained.
