Job summary

Advanced Recruit is recruiting an experienced panel wirer for a leading UK manufacturer providing Electrical distribution and Control Panel Solutions. The role involves fitting electrical control panels, wiring looms, and working with single and three phase in a fast-paced shop floor environment.

You will use hand and air tools, perform minor soldering, fault finding and repairs, and produce looms from schematic drawings. 12-week temp-to-perm, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge essential; panel wiring background preferred.
• Team player with good communication.
• Ability to manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Fitting electrical control panels.
• Assembling and wiring looms/harnesses; crimping, stripping cables.
• Working with single and three phase.
• Using hand and air tools.
• Fast-paced shop floor manufacturing environment.
• Wiring assemblies in high and low volume runs.
• Installing large electrical control cabinets.
• Minor soldering.
• Fault finding and repair.
• Producing looms where required.
• Working from schematic drawings.

Advanced Recruit are recruiting for an experienced and skilled panel wirer for our client who are a leading manufacturer providing Electrical distribution and Control Panel Solutions around the UK.

Requirements:

• Some Electrical knowledge is essential preferred background in Panel wiring industry.
• Able to work well within a team
• Great communicator.
• Able to manage own workload.

Duties Include:

• Fitting electrical control panels
• Cutting various size cables, Assembling, crimping, stripping and cutting cable wires and building looms/harness wiring
• Working with single and three phase.
• Using Hand and air tools
• Working on fast paced Shop floor manufacturing environment.
• Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies
• Installations of large electrical control cabinets.
• Minor Soldering
• Fault finding and repair
• Little amount of producing looms
• Working to schematic drawings

The Package

• 12 week temp to perm contract
• Working days Monday to Thursday 7:30 till 4:30, early finsh on Friday
• Starting rate is between £13 - £14 depending on experience.
• Overtime available
