Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group seeks an Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead to own the Electrical apprenticeship provision across the learner journey at Slough & Langley College campuses. The role is full-time and offers a salary range on the Support Staff pay scale (£45,196–£48,286), dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will lead a delivery team, train and assess apprentices, and maintain strong links with local and national employers to ensure curriculum remains aligned with

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition certification.
• AM2 / AM2S.
• Willingness to work towards teaching or assessing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Operational ownership of the Electrical apprenticeship provision throughout the learner journey.
• Lead EQA visits and manage IQA processes.
• Track retention and achievement targets and drive quality improvement through self-assessment reviews.
• Direct training, coaching and assessing a caseload of apprentices against industry standards.
• Identify at-risk learners early and implement effective support strategies.
• Ensure readiness for End Point Assessment (EPA/AM2S).
• Act as primary contact for local and national employers to keep curriculum responsive to sector needs.
