Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead to join the Apprenticeships Department at Slough & Langley College campus. This permanent, full-time role provides operational ownership of the Electrical apprenticeship provisions and leads the delivery team through planning and standardisation.

You will train, coach and assess apprentices, track retention and achievement, and drive quality improvements while liaising with employers to keep curricula responsive

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
• 18th Edition certification.
• AM2 / AM2S.
• Recognised teaching or assessing qualifications or willingness to work towards them.

Responsibilities

This permanent role is full time and pays between £45,196 (M38) and £48,286 (M41) on the Support Staff pay scale, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Are you an experienced electrical specialist and leader looking to shape the next generation of trade professionals? Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a dynamic Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead to manage, oversee and elevate our Electrical Apprenticeship provision at our Slough & Langley College campus.

As Programme Lead, you will take operational ownership of the Electrical apprenticeship provision throughout the entire learner journey. Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, you will provide strong leadership to your delivery team through regular line management, curriculum planning and standardisation. Your key responsibilities will include leading EQA visits, managing IQA processes, tracking retention and achievement targets and driving quality improvement through regular self assessment reviews.

In addition to team leadership, you will directly train, coach and assess a caseload of apprentices against industry standards, identifying at-risk learners early to put effective support strategies in place and ensure their readiness for End Point Assessment (EPA / AM2S). You will also act as the primary point of contact for local and national employers, ensuring our curriculum remains responsive to sector needs.

We are seeking candidates with relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance, an 18th Edition certification, AM2 / AM2S, and recognised teaching or assessing qualifications or a willingness to work towards them.
