Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead to join the Apprenticeships Department at our Slough & Langley College campus. This permanent role is full time and sits on the Support Staff pay scale (£45,196–£48,286) depending on experience.

You will own the learner journey, provide strong leadership to the delivery team, and drive curriculum planning and quality assurance to ensure high standards and timely End Point Assessments.

Qualifications

• Hence relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance as required.
• 18th Edition certification and AM2/AM2S are essential credentials.
• Teaching or assessing qualifications, or willingness to work towards them.

Responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of the Electrical apprenticeship provision across the learner journey.
• Lead delivery team through line management, curriculum planning and standardisation.
• Lead EQA visits, manage IQA processes, and track retention/achievement targets.
• Coach and assess apprentices and maintain employer relationships for curriculum relevance.

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead to join the Apprenticeships Department at our Slough & Langley College campus. This permanent role is full time and pays between £45,196 (M38) and £48,286 (M41) on the Support Staff pay scale, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Are you an experienced electrical specialist and leader looking to shape the next generation of trade professionals? Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a dynamic Electrical Apprenticeship Programme Lead to manage, oversee and elevate our Electrical Apprenticeship provision at our Slough & Langley College campus.

As Programme Lead, you will take operational ownership of the Electrical apprenticeship provision throughout the entire learner journey. Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, you will provide strong leadership to your delivery team through regular line management, curriculum planning and standardisation. Your key responsibilities will include leading EQA visits, managing IQA processes, tracking retention and achievement targets and driving quality improvement through regular self assessment reviews.

In addition to team leadership, you will directly train, coach and assess a caseload of apprentices against industry standards, identifying at-risk learners early to put effective support strategies in place and ensure their readiness for End Point Assessment (EPA / AM2S). You will also act as the primary point of contact for local and national employers, ensuring our curriculum remains responsive to sector needs.

We are seeking candidates with relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance, an 18th Edition certification, AM2 / AM2S, and recognised teaching or assessing qualifications or a willingness to work towards them.
