Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Manager to lead the Electrical Apprenticeship provision at a Further Education college in Slough. You will oversee the delivery team, support apprentice development and maintain high-quality training standards while building strong relationships with employers.

This role suits a candidate with a strong background in Electrical Installation or Maintenance, proven team leadership and a thorough understanding of apprenticeship

Qualifications

• Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds 5357).
• Current 18th Edition qualification and AM2/AM2S.
• Recognised assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or CAVA).
• Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience managing or coaching a team and coordinating with awarding bodies, IQAs and EQAs.

Responsabilités

• Lead and line manage the Electrical Apprenticeship team, including one-to-ones, curriculum planning, standardisation and lesson observations.
• Train and coach apprentices to develop skills, monitor progress and intervene early when needed.
• Act as main point of contact for apprentices, employers and external stakeholders, ensuring training meets industry requirements.
• Oversee IQA, EQA processes, Self-Assessment Reviews and Quality Improvement Plans.
• Monitor learner retention, achievement and progression, preparing for End-Point Assessments such as AM2S.
