Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd in Slough is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Gas Apprenticeship Manager to lead and develop an apprenticeship delivery team within a Further Education setting. You will manage staff, oversee curriculum quality, coach apprentices and ensure high standards of teaching, assessment and learner achievement.

The successful candidate will have strong vocational knowledge of Plumbing and Gas, experience coaching a delivery team, and a solid understanding of apprenticeship standards

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualification or degree in Plumbing, Domestic Heating or Gas.
• Recognised assessor qualification such as A1, TAQA or CAVA.
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• Proven experience managing or coaching a delivery team in apprenticeship/training.
• Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards, awarding body requirements, IQA/EQA processes.
• Experience using digital platforms to monitor apprentice progress and achievement.
• Level 5 teaching qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Plumbing & Gas apprenticeship staff, including coaching and planning.
• Coach apprentices through progress reviews and assessments to address under performance.
• Oversee curriculum quality, QA processes, and quality improvement plans.
• Build relationships with apprentices, employers, awarding bodies and external stakeholders.
• Monitor retention, achievement and progression toward End-Point Assessment.
