Job summary

Southern Water is seeking an EICA Engineer in Falmer to join our Engineering team. You will deliver electrical, instrumentation, control and automation expertise to support infrastructure improvements and ensure safe, compliant project delivery.

You will produce designs, perform analyses, mentor junior engineers, and balance workload to meet milestones in a 37-hour week with a £42k+ salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience on water/wastewater engineering projects.
• Strong communication within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support across water and wastewater projects.
• Produce, review and check engineering designs, calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Support planning, coordination and delivery with Senior and Principal Engineers.
• Investigate and resolve complex engineering and design challenges.
• Undertake quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support development of innovative and digital engineering solutions.
• Coach and mentor Assistant and Graduate Engineers.
• Manage workload to meet milestones, budgets and delivery timescales.
