Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced EICA Design Engineer for the water sector to own practical, buildable EICA solutions across projects in the UK and Ireland. The role requires strong electrical, instrumentation, control and automation knowledge and collaboration with design managers, site teams, suppliers and clients to deliver safe, reliable and commercially robust designs.

Qualifications

Bachelor (Hons) Degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent.
Experience delivering EICA/Electrical designs for industrial, process, utilities or infrastructure projects.
Proven delivery of technical designs with strong electrical, infrastructure knowledge.

Responsibilities

Support the Design Manager in delivering EICA design work across the UK with occasional Ireland involvement.
Perform preliminary and detailed EICA design for electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems.
Develop calculations, drawings, schedules and technical advice to support contract delivery.
Develop standards in design to streamline engineering tasks and ensure quality.
Mentor engineers and technicians within the EICA team and coordinate with external stakeholders.
