Job summary

Fyba Talent in the United Kingdom seeks an EICA Designer to support design and delivery of electrical, instrumentation, control and automation solutions across water and wastewater projects, including treatment works and pumping stations. You will produce detailed design drawings, specifications and technical documentation to meet client and project objectives.

The role requires strong technical design skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines,

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience producing detailed EICA designs for water/infrastructure.
• Strong ability to interpret standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver preliminary and detailed EICA design across project stages, including water projects.
• Develop electrical, instrumentation, control and automation design solutions for water infrastructure.
• Produce calculations, drawings, schedules and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain engineering and design standards.
• Develop cable schedules, block diagrams and single-line diagrams.
• Produce electrical layout drawings, including cable routes and ducts, using CAD software.
• Provide technical specifications and report writing.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Determine applicable design, installation and client standards and ensure they are applied.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers and technicians.
