Job summary

Anord Mardix (a Flex company) is seeking an EHS Manager to lead Environmental Health & Safety across Blackburn and Preston facilities. You will implement and manage EHS programs, ensure compliance with ISO 45001/14001, and drive a strong safety culture with cross-site collaboration.

The role reports to the Head of EHS EMEA and requires a degree in a related field, professional EHS certification, and a valid driving licence for site-to-site travel within the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree relevant to health and safety or engineering.
• Experience in a large manufacturing or construction environment.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience liaising with sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS across Blackburn and Preston operations.
• Communicate regulatory duties to management and teams.
• Lead health and safety training and promote safety culture.
• Maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems across sites.
• Review and approve EHS activities and resolve issues.
