Job summary

Flex, including Anord Mardix operations, seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental programs across Blackburn and Preston. You will drive compliance, coach teams, and partner with leadership to embed a strong EHS culture.

You will coordinate ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 activities, liaise with contractors, and advance training while ensuring regulatory adherence and continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• Degree and demonstrable experience in a similar EHS role within manufacturing or construction.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience communicating with sub-contractors and driving EHS initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EHS across Blackburn and Preston operations.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and communicate duties to management.
• Lead training programs and promote a proactive health and safety culture.
• Coordinate ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems at sites and offices.
• Develop and implement EHS strategy and related procedures.
• Review and approve EHS activities and drive issue resolution.
