Job summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is seeking an EHS Manager based in Blackburn to cover our Blackburn and Preston facilities. You will lead Environmental Health & Safety activities, ensuring compliance with company and government standards and reporting to the Head of EHS EMEA.

The role requires a relevant degree, strong ISO 45001/14001 knowledge, subcontractor handling, IOSH/NEBOSH membership, and a valid full driving licence with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree and demonstrable experience in a similar role within manufacturing/construction.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Experience working with subcontractors and external partners.
• Member of IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel between sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; organized and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for EHS across Blackburn and Preston operations.
• Communicate regulatory duties and EHS matters to senior management.
• Develop and implement training programs; promote a strong health and safety culture.
• Ensure PPE and safety procedures are followed by all personnel.
• Coordinate ISO 45001/14001 systems and regulatory compliance.
• Review EHS activities and drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
